Dr. Kevin Wilson
Lead Pastor
With over 25 years of ministry experience, Kevin holds a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has authored a book and several bible studies. Kevin has been the lead pastor here at Westover since 2022. He is married to Kristina and has two children.
Michael Carter
Worship Pastor
Michael is originally from Greensboro, and oversees congregational worship at Westover. With a passion for music and a deep love for theology, he holds a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Michael is married to Kerri, with whom he shares four children.
Elliot Ramos
Global Care Pastor
Elliot has over 20 years of ministry experience as an Associate Pastor, Church Planter, and Bible Teacher. He holds a B.S. in Christian Leadership Management from Geneva University. Elliot is married to Damaris and has three children. He enjoys music, cooking, and traveling.
Tony San Nicolas
High School Pastor
Originally from California, Tony moved to North Carolina with his wife Tiffany and their four children to join Westover as High School Pastor. Tony holds a B.S. in Pastoral Studies from Patton University. He enjoys many outdoor activities and motorsports, and is so blessed to be a part of the team!
Michael Trautman
Missional Life Pastor
After spending 7 years on the mission field, Michael and his wife Katie returned home to Westover in 2018. Michael enjoys fitness, volleyball, and fishing. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Global Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Mark Watkins
Associate Pastor
After 20 years in business, Mark joined Westover Church in 2008. He holds a Masters in Christian Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and enjoys snowboarding, camping, and travel with his wife Raquel and their two children.

Discipleship Pastor
JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary role of the Discipleship Pastor is to assist the Lead Pastor in carrying out Westover Church's mission: To develop mature followers of Jesus Christ. The Discipleship Pastor will support the church's vision to love God, love people, and make disciples, helping Westover families grow in their faith in a manner that brings glory to God.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Ministry Experience: At least 3-5 years of NexGen, Family, or Adult Education pastor ministry experience.
- Education Experience: At least an MDiv from an accredited seminary or master's degree/College.
- *Experience in leading NexGen or Leading is necessary.
- Experience with basic computer hardware and software tools (i.e.MS Office suite).
- Must have experienced salvation through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Exhibit a godly example, living a life of honesty, integrity, and transparency worthy of the gospel, consistently following, and growing in relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Exhibit spiritual sensitivity, humility, graciousness, and flexibility.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Take initiative in leadership roles as a self-starter.
- Recruit, teach, train, support spiritually, and develop within the assigned ministry areas, develop ministry team visions, values, strategies, and plans through the Vision, and Mission of Westover Church, and oversee specific aspects of each assigned ministry area.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with church family and staff.
- Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
- Discern needs and respond appropriately, sensitively, and proactively.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Supervise assigned areas/programs vital to Westover Church's purpose and ministry.
- Manage employees and volunteers effectively.
- Develop and operate within an annual budget.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for missions and ministry excellence.

- Oversee and develop Westover’s Children’s Ministry, Middle School Ministry, and High School Ministry in alignment with the overall church’s mission and vision.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-marital, marriage, and family counseling as coordinated among the pastoral staff.
- Participate fully in pastoral staff meetings and one-on-one meetings under the direction of the Lead Pastor.
- Recruit, teach, train, support spiritually, and develop within assigned ministry areas.
- Prepare and manage an annual budget for each ministry area.
- Participate in Leadership Team meetings, retreats, and workdays as requested.
- Participate in an annual performance.
- Assist the Lead Pastor in the overall programming of the church, aid in special projects, and implement specific assignments related to general pastoral activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

High School Associate

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the High School Pastor in overseeing the ministries and programs provided for High School students.
- Recruit, train, equip, and oversee volunteers in the ministry.
- Assist in planning and conducting events for high school and college ministry.
- Meet regularly with the High School Pastor to plan weekly programming and special events, and to evaluate past programs and events.
- Build relationships with students within and outside of regularly scheduled programming and events.
- Actively disciple individual students.
- Serve as a back-up to the High School Pastor on Sundays, Wednesdays, and events if he is gone.
- Be involved with church-wide initiatives to provide leadership and be a Servant example to the students and families.

Childcare Worker

Westover KidsCare provides Christ-focused care for children for Tuesday and Wednesday morning women's programming as well as special events at the church (worship nights, volunteer trainings, holiday services, etc.) We are looking for a few individuals to assist in providing care for our attendees’ children for all of these times.

Early Childhood Associate

- Meet regularly with Children’s Director to provide feedback, updates, and contributions to action planning for ministry team goals.
- Meet regularly with Early Childhood leadership team and team members to care for and encourage them as a team and as individuals.
- Attend weekly Westover Kids meetings and monthly all-staff meetings, serving as a liaison between Early Childhood and Westover staff, Elders, and Deacons.
- Collaborate with Westover Kid’s staff regarding Promotion Sunday preparations, family events, summer camps, and weekly email communications to parents.
- Collaborate with Westover Kids Care Coordinator and MOPS Childcare Coordinator on Early Childhood policies, and any related Early Childhood concerns.
- 3 years of experience in children’s ministry, preferably in a leadership position.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Outlook and all Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).
- Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to train and facilitate classes.
- Skilled at resource and project management.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
