Welcome to Young Adults Ministry!

We gather to equip young adults to grow as mature followers of Jesus Christ by:
Growing in the gospel and deepening our relationship with Christ
Connecting in biblical community for encouragement and accountability
Serving others as the hands and feet of Jesus

Thursday Nights

The young adults are currently not meeting on Thursdays June 26 - August 6. We hope to see you on August 13 or for our other social events before then!

We connect and give information through GroupMe and email. All of our events and communication will happen through those during the summer.

Small Groups

Women’s (Sun & Mon nights) & Men’s (Sun nights)
A committed group of 6–8 women or men (gender-specific) gathering in homes to dive deeper into Scripture, pray for one another, and build each other up with mutual encouragement and accountability.
New topics launch every 8–12 weeks. Contact us to get connected!

Serving

There are many opportunities for young adults to share their gifts by serving the body of Westover, being the hands and feet of Jesus in our local community, and serving with our global partners through short-term mission trips. Community Building Events

Aaron Cooper

YA Leader

Aaron serves on the Young Adults leadership team as well with the Westover kids ministry. Originally from Buffalo, NY, he moved to Greensboro in 2023 and has attended Westover since then. He enjoys hiking and outdoor activities, pickleball, disc golf, and trying out new cooking recipes.

Kevin & Linda Lotz

YA Mentors

Kevin and Linda serve as mentors and small group leaders for Young Adults. Kevin, a retired IT project manager, enjoys walking alongside others in their faith and studying Scripture. Linda, a retired church administrator, loves hospitality, hosting Bible studies, gardening, and spending time outdoors with family.
